Allina
Francis Africa is committed to the principles of equal
opportunities and non-racial practices (employment equity). We
are committed to an accelerated process of empowerment which
will ensure a greater share of participation and responsibility
by previously disadvantaged individuals in our firm’s management
and at all levels within our organization through appropriate
training and career development.

We are engaged by contractors to provide general design services on
turn key projects, prepare tender designs and documentation;
assist the contractor with specialist design; assist the
contractor with time or cost management, quality, safety, claims
and contractual issues.

Our
ideal on skills transfer is to provide bursaries
and support for many previously disadvantaged students in
various field services offered by the practice at different
levels. We believe this gives opportunities to further, complete
studies to individuals and then join our firm to gain
experience.

Social responsibilities forms part of
our philosophy. We are committed to the social upliftment
and developing students from disadvantaged communities
through offering bursaries, mentorship and training programmes.
We
are in close contact and consultation with
lecturers from the Copperbelt University (Zambia), University of
Botswana, Pretoria University and the University of the Witwatersrand,
who from time organise workshops and presentations.

At
Allina Francis Africa we believe for labour growth to occur,
fully empower citizens; and better the built environment, skills
transfer is key and inevitable. The belief and commitment to
skills transfer is demonstrated by partnering (joint ventures)
as well as forming working relationships with emerging
professional and construction firms in order to develop skills
and technology transfer on projects.
We
also involve and work with the communities in the development
challenges facing them. Creation of jobs on projects through
labour-based construction on projects is adapted. |
